West Bengal branch of ISHA welcomes you to the 55th Annual Convention of the Indian Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ISHACON), 2024. We are excited to announce the 55th ISHACON is to be held at the City of Joy, Kolkata in physical mode. Your collaboration will turn this educational comradery into a spectacular union of great minds, and a birthplace for many more academic questions as ISHA continues this delightful educational foray, creating connections and nurturing minds through the conference. The conference will take place at the Science City, Kolkata from 18th to 21st January, 2024.
The West Bengal Branch of Indian Speech and Hearing Association (SHAIWB) was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 by practicing Speech and Hearing professionals of West Bengal in April, 2009. Mode of operandi of SHAIWB comprises of advocacy, dissemination of knowledge, collaboration with other professional agencies, conducting different continuing rehabilitation programs affiliated by Rehabilitation Council of India. Weare now reaching around 200 life members and the team is unremittingly working towards the advancement and betterment of the field. We have successfully arranged ISHACON in 2011 and 2017, held at Swabhumi, Kolkata. We have also been organizing webinars to strengthen knowledge, keep professionals up-to-date and actively synchronizing for best practices.
